What is our telos? Serving others through design.

From full company branding to the specifics of logo design, we help everything you do reach its highest end.

Welcome to Telos Design! My name is Jessica Connolly, founder and creative director of Telos Design, LLC and TelosArt

After the birth of my second child and 7 years practicing architecture in Austin, Texas, I decided to strike out on my own to pursue my passion for art and graphic design. In 2011, Telos Design, LLC was established. Immediately I was hired as a contract worker at our Austin parish to design the weekly bulletins and monthly newsletter and as a contractor for American Philanthropic in Phoenix, Arizona.

I continue to work with corporate entities, nonprofit organizations and individuals to create unique logos, collateral material, special event invitations, and web designs. My background in architecture and a passion for graphic design combine to bring a unique eye for color, proportion, and composition with a modern aesthetic.

In the past year I have also opened an Etsy storefront and a Peter’s Square shop selling liturgical calendars, sacred art calendars, fine art, and jewelry.

a bit more of my history

In 2005, after graduating from the College of Architecture at Kansas State University I moved to Texas in pursuit of a career in design. During my seven years at Alterstudio Architecture, an award-winning firm, I assisted with the designs of multiple residential renovations and new constructions. I also developed consistent branding and marketing for the firm’s collateral materials; curated portfolios; coordinated publication and award submissions; and developed architectural graphics.

In May 2014, my family relocated to Arizona to be closer to other family. In addition to my work, I finds joy spending time with my hilarious husband (you can find out more about him here) while chasing our energetic children.

My company, American Philanthropic, has hired Jessica to design websites, logos, and organizational collateral material, among other things. She has the most important gift of a graphic designer, which is to  create attractive, clean, visually compelling products. She's also wonderfully easy and professional to work with, and she does well even when given fairly little to go on. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Jessica of Telos Design has been a delight to work with. Great ideas, the ability to pinpoint just the right design for my memoir clients. Her attention to detail has made the creative process enjoyable and smooth.

Karen Ray, Owner and Author at Remembering the Time

Jessica is one of the most talented, professional, dedicated designers with whom I have ever had the pleasure to work. Besides being a total pleasure to work with on a daily basis, she brings a high level of sophistication, taste, and design acumen with her to every design project she touches. Jessica's ability to make clients feel comfortable and heard during the design process is invaluable. I hope very much to work with her again someday soon.

Kelly Kopelson, colleague from Alterstudio Architects, LLP

Let me just say, that is a pleasure to be working with you again!
